KARAKUŞ REGULATOR AND HEPP

It is within the borders of Kahta District of Adıyaman Province. The regulator is located on the Kahta Stream at 563.40 m thalweg elevation, 300 m east of the Hazena Village. The annual average flow rate at the regulator site is 32.56 m3/s. The length of the transmission tunnel, where the water of the Kahta Stream will be transferred to the power plant by being surrounded by a regulator, is 3543m long, the channel length is 1817m, and the net head is 28.17m. The power delivery of Karakuş Power Plant is 9.87MW and the annual total energy to be produced from the power plant is calculated as 39.05GWh/year.
